THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON DOES ORDAINAS FOLLOWS:SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Fuller-tonfinds.That heretofore the City Council of the City of Fuller-ton <br />was officially notified, by the Boundary Commission of theCounty of Orange, State of California, that said Boundary Commiss-ion had approved the annexation to the City of Fullerton of <br />theterritory hereinafter mentioned, and that the City Council of theCity of Fuller-ton received a petition in writing requesting thatsaid territory which is described in Section 2 of <br />this ordinancebe annexed to and included within said City of Fullerton. Thatsaid petition was signed by the owners of not less than one-fourthof the area of land in said territory representing <br />not less thanone-fourth of the assessed value of such territory as shown onthe last equalized assessment roll of the County of Orange, Stateof California wherein said territory is situated. <br /> That saidterritory is uninhabited within the meaning of the Annexationof Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939" and is contiguous to theCity of Fullerton, and does not form a part of any <br />municipalcorporation. That pursuant to the provisions of a statute of theState of California known as the Znnexatlon of UninhabitedTerritory Act of 1959 as Amended", said City Council <br />adopted ItsResolution No. 1558 on June 4, 1952, giving notice of suchproposed annexation and designating said territory to be annexedas Chapman Annexation", and fixing the hour of 4:00 <br />P.M. onJuly 10, 1952, at the Council Chamber at the City Hall of the Cityof Fullerton,.California, as the hour, day and place for hearingobjections to said proposed annexation.
