Upon payment of the purchase price, they become the <br />property of the purchaser and may not be returned for refund. <br />You may access the plans through the following website under Public Planroom: <br />www.crplanwell.com <br />For help accessing and ordering, please contact a Planwell Administrator at 714.424.8525. <br />Sealed Proposals for RESIDENTIAL SLURRY SEAL AND MISCELLANEOUS <br />REHABILITATION, in accordance with the Plans and Specifications, will be received at the office <br />of the City Clerk, Fullerton City Hall, 303 West Commonwealth Avenue, Room 104, Fullerton, CA <br />92832 until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2019 and shortly thereafter on this same day, <br />they will be publicly opened and read in the City Council Chambers. <br />No Bid will be accepted unless it is made on a Bid Schedule form furnished by the Public Works <br />Department, Engineering Division contained within the Specifications. <br />Bids are required for the entire work as described below: <br />The project generally consists of crack sealing, removal of traffic striping and legends, the <br />application of slurry seal to various local streets, cold milling pavement, asphalt concrete <br />overlay, asphalt concrete dig -out repair, adjusting manholes and water valves to grade, <br />concrete access ramps, concrete curbs and gutters, striping, traffic loops, water pollution <br />control, and all related work. <br />The time of completion of contract shall be 35 working days as defined in the Standard <br />Specifications for Public Works, 2015 Edition. Liquidated Damages, as defined in the referenced <br />specifications, Section 6-9, shall be $1000 per day. <br />The Engineer's estimate for this project is $465,000. <br />Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or bidder's bond, made payable <br />to the City of Fullerton, for an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount bid, such guarantee to <br />be forfeited should the bidder to whom the contract is awarded fail to enter into the contract. <br />In addition, a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid, and a Labor and Materials <br />Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid shall be required of the successful bidder prior to entering <br />into a contract. The City will permit substitution of approved securities for monies retained on this <br />project in accordance with Section 9-3.2 of the Standard Specifications for Public Works <br />Construction ("Green Book"), 2015. <br />The Contractor shall also provide Commercial General Liability Insurance, Comprehensive <br />
