STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS: W. KNEPP AVE, N. RICHMAN <br />AVE, FLINTRIDGE DR, AND HASTINGS AVE, in accordance with the Plans and Specifications, <br />will be received at the office of the City Clerk, Fullerton City Hall, 303 West Commonwealth <br />Avenue, Room 104, Fullerton, CA 92832 until 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 26, 2019, and shortly <br />thereafter on this same day, they will be publicly opened and read in the City Council Chambers. <br />No Bid will be accepted unless it is made on a Bid Schedule form furnished by the Public Works <br />Department, Engineering Division contained within the Specifications. <br />Bids are required for the entire work as described below: <br />The work shall consist of, but not be limited to: storm drain cleaning, cured -in-place pipe <br />storm drain lining, reconstruction of parkway drain, catch basins, cross gutter, curb and <br />gutter, asphalt concrete, adjust manhole to grade, storm drain point repairs, post - <br />construction CCTV, traffic control, and all related work. <br />The time of completion of contract shall be 20 working days as defined in the Standard <br />Specifications for Public Works, 2015 Edition. Liquidated Damages, as defined in the referenced <br />specifications, Section 6-9, shall be $2,300 per day. <br />The Engineer's estimate for this project is $307,000. <br />The City intends to issue a Notice to Proceed on or before October 7, 2019. Contractor will take <br />full responsibility for completing all precursory requirements necessary for this issuance. <br />Contractor shall take note of the following dates and complete all milestones by close of business. <br />
