Upon payment of the purchase price, they become <br />the property of the purchaser and may not be returned for refund. <br />You may access the plans through the following website under Public Planroom: <br /> <br />For help accessing and ordering, please contact a Planwell Administrator at 714.424.8525 <br />Sealed Proposals for TANK FARM STOCK PILE - ROCK CRUSHING, in accordance with the <br />Plans and Specifications, will be received at the office of the City Clerk, Fullerton City Hall, 303 <br />West Commonwealth Avenue, Room 104, Fullerton, CA 92832 until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, <br />September 12, 2019 and shortly thereafter on this same day, they will be publicly opened and <br />read in the City Council Chamber. <br />No Bid will be accepted unless it is made on a Bid Schedule form furnished by the Public Works <br />Department, Engineering Division contained within the Specifications. <br />Bids are required for the entire work as described below: <br />Work generally consists of producing pulverizing miscellaneous base that consist of asphalt <br />concrete and Portland cement concrete. <br />The time of completion of contract shall be 10 working days as defined in the Standard <br />Specifications for Public Works, 2015 Edition. Liquidated Damages, as defined in the <br />referenced specifications, Section 6-9, shall be $300 per day. <br />The Engineer's estimate for this project is $50,000. <br />NON -MANDATORY PRE-BID JOB WALK <br />A non -mandatory pre-bid job walk will be held at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, September 5, 2019, at <br />3151 Euclid Street. See appendix for location map. <br />Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or bidder's bond, made <br />payable to the City of Fullerton, for an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount bid, such <br />guarantee to be forfeited should the bidder to whom the contract is awarded fail to enter into the <br />contract. <br />In addition, a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid, and a Labor and Materials <br />Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid shall be required of the successful bidder prior to <br />entering into a contract. The City will permit substitution of approved securities for monies <br />retained on this project in accordance with Section 9-3.2 of the Standard Specifications for <br />Public Works Construction ("Green Book"), 2015. <br />
